Ghosts

Dimensions:40cm x 50cm

Some places preserve a presence long after a person has left them.

His figure repeats throughout the room — beside her, across the table, holding out a coat, ready to help her put it on, and walking away. These are not memories replaying themselves, but traces left within the space itself.

The work speaks about inner places — the ones that remain within us longer than the relationship itself. When a person leaves, certain spaces continue to hold their outline. “Ghosts” is about a quiet, everyday form of grief: seeing what is no longer there, and continuing to live anyway.
